Weekly Message from Father Gase

Father Gase September 05, 2020

My Dear Parishioners,

One of the issues I have been working on since coming to Bellevue has been RCIA. Grace Middleswarth has led our RCIA efforts for the past 5 years and made the decision to step away from those duties prior to my arrival. I wish to thank her for her excellent service in leading our RCIA program! She will still be leading our parish CCD program. Finding someone to lead the RCIA program has proved to be quite difficult during a pandemic and being the new kid in town. To that end, this year we will be partnering with St. Paul's in Norwalk. Inquirers expressing interest in joining the Catholic Church from our parish will attend courses at St. Paul's. Their RCIA sessions will begin Sunday September 13 9:00 am-10:45 am. However, if the decision is made to follow through with converting to the Catholic faith, the Easter sacraments will be received here at Immaculate Conception for anyone from this parish. If you or someone you know is interested in joining the Catholic Church, please contact me at [email protected] or give me a call at the parish office. I will then forward you the information from St. Paul's.

We have officially completed the first week of school! The presence of the school kids on our campus brings so much life to the place...I've always maintained that a school building is meant to have students and teachers in it, and I'm so glad they're here!

Make it a great week!

Immaculate Mary, pray for us!

Father Gase
