Weekly Message from Father Gase

My Dear Parishioners,

Every now and then a couple who was married in a civil ceremony will contact me to have their marriage recognized by the Catholic Church. I'm always happy to help couples in these situations! Why is it important? We know that marriage is one of the seven sacraments of the Church, and each of the sacraments impart special graces to help sustain us in our lives. If, by chance, your marriage has not been recognized by the Catholic Church I encourage you to seriously consider taking this very important step. You could be missing out on important sacramental graces that can strengthen your family! If you would like to learn more please do not hesitate to contact me.

Next weekend we will have a second collection after Communion which will support the Perpetuate the Gift (retired priest) campaign. As a reminder, whatever we raise here at the parish will help to offset what we are assessed by the diocese. Thank you for your support!
